The Northeast Pennsylvania Manufacturers and Employers Association maintains close contact with our Legislative Delegation and believes each member should have the opportunity to meet their representative and discuss the issues of interest to them.
Currently our companies in the region are experiencing a labor crisis. Presently, there are over 3,400 job openings posted on the PA CareerLink website for Luzerne and Schuylkill Counties. There are over 157,800 job openings statewide on the website. Similar to employers throughout the state, businesses are struggling to recruit the talent they need to meet their operational demands.
This roundtable will provide an opportunity for you to share your concerns and have an open dialogue with lawmakers.
